Description
This wooden model of the Mediterranean fishing boat Palamos is consistent with the design and components of the OcCre model kit 12000. The vessel features a planked wooden hull with a polished and varnished natural finish. The deck is detailed with various nautical elements including a central wooden wheelhouse, small deck-mounted winches, and a red and white life ring. The boat is rigged with two masts and a comprehensive arrangement of cordage for standing and running rigging. The model is displayed on a simple two-piece wooden cradle. A contemporary auction house inventory label bearing the handwritten number 9776/1 is affixed to the starboard side of the hull.
