A Collection of UK and Commonwealth Coins including Commemorative Crowns
Description
A collection of predominantly UK and Commonwealth coinage presented in a grey tray. The lot features numerous crown-sized commemorative pieces, including multiple 1965 Winston Churchill crowns and 1953 Coronation crowns. Two specimens are held in original presentation cases: a 1951 Festival of Britain crown in a green box and a further crown-sized coin in a burgundy box. The assortment includes various pre-decimal and decimal denominations such as half-crowns, florins, and shillings, along with smaller bronze and brass coins. Several pieces are protected in plastic flips or mounted on a white display card. Materials comprise cupro-nickel, bronze, and brass, with the potential for silver content in earlier UK issues.
