A Collection of Glazed Porcelain Military and Fashion Figurines and a Model Locomotive
Description
A collection of glazed porcelain and ceramic decorative objects including multiple figurines and a model locomotive. The group features a set of six military figures depicting British Army officers from the Napoleonic era, dated 1815, representing the following regiments: Horse Grenadiers, British Line Infantry, Light Dragoons, Rifle Brigade, Grenadier Company, and Dragoon Guards. These figures are mounted on integral white pedestal bases with gilt-lined borders and printed titles. Associated packaging identifies these as being from The Regal Collection, and they are in the style of Alfretto porcelain. Also included are two larger female figurines in early 20th-century attire, one wearing a white winter coat and the other a cream-coloured gown, with original boxes labelled Lauren and Sophie. The lot is completed by a silver-toned model of a steam locomotive featuring a small figure of a dog positioned on the upper rear section.
