Soviet Sokol RP-204 Portable Transistor Radio with Original Box and Manual
Description
A Soviet-era portable transistor radio, model Sokol RP-204 (Сокол РП-204), manufactured in the former USSR. The unit is housed in a dark grey moulded plastic cabinet featuring an integral circular-patterned speaker grille and a black textured carrying strap secured with metal rivets. The radio features a vertical slide-rule tuning dial with Cyrillic markings for Long Wave (ДВ) and Medium Wave (СВ) frequency bands. Two rotary control knobs are positioned on the right-hand side for tuning and volume/power functions. The lot includes the original green cardboard storage box with a printed paper label and an original illustrated instruction manual in Cyrillic, housed within a protective plastic sleeve.
