A Set of Six Royal Doulton Bunnykins Oompah Band Figurines
Description
A set of six Royal Doulton Bunnykins figurines from the Oompah Band series, produced in glazed polychrome ceramic. Each figure depicts a rabbit in a red marching band tunic and blue trousers. The collection comprises a Drum Major with a mace, a Trumpeter, a Trombonist, a Sousaphone Player, a Cymbals Player, and a Drummer with a large bass drum inscribed Bunnykins Oompah Band. The underside of each base features the Royal Doulton lion and crown backstamp, the specific figure name, and commemorative text stating To Commemorate The Bunnykins Golden Jubilee Celebration 1984. Some bases also include hand-painted reference numbers in black ink.
