A signed colour print by the British Northern School artist Tom Dodson (1910-1991), likely titled Back Street Bookie. The work is executed in the artist’s signature naive style, depicting a bustling urban scene with various figures and children playing on a cobbled street, adjacent to a tall red-brick building. Notable details include a boy hanging from a rope on a traditional street lamp and groups of figures in period dress. The image is signed and dated T.dodson / 1974 within the print to the lower right corner, and it is further signed in pencil as Tom Dodson. on the lower white margin.
