A Collection of Six Royal Doulton Bunnykins Ceramic Figurines
Description
A collection of six Royal Doulton Bunnykins glazed ceramic figurines. The set comprises various anthropomorphic rabbit characters including Tally Ho! (DB 12) featuring a rabbit in a red hunting coat on a rocking horse; Mr. Bunnykins from the Autumn Days series in a red jacket and straw hat; Mr. Bunnybeat playing a guitar; a Trumpeter rabbit in a blue hat and red jacket; a Drummer rabbit in a pink jacket; and a Mother’s Day figurine (DB 4) depicting a mother rabbit in a white apron. Each figure is finished in polychrome glazes. Every base features a printed backstamp with the Royal Doulton logo, Bunnykins branding, and Made in England. Specific markings include copyright dates of 1972 and 1974, as well as model titles and reference numbers such as DB 12 and DB 4. A hand-painted numeral 37 is present on the base of the Tally Ho! figurine.
Heights vary between approximately 9 cm and 11 cm.
