Lot 323:
A Collection of Vintage Spirit and Liqueur Bottles including a Bell's Scotch Whisky Decanter
Description
A collection of vintage spirit and liqueur bottles, including ceramic decanter-style vessels and various miniatures. The lot features a Bell’s Blended Scotch Whisky ceramic bell-shaped decanter with a cream and brown glaze finish. The label identifies the distiller as Perth, Scotland, and the item retains its red foil seal and an auction house sticker numbered 9754. Also present are two Bronte Original Yorkshire Liqueur ceramic jugs, one larger decanter size and one miniature, with brown transfer-printed labels.
The miniature bottles include a white glass Malibu Tropical Coconut Liqueur bottle, two rectangular dark glass Cointreau bottles, a clear glass Pilavas Ouzo bottle, a dark glass St. Michael Irish Cream Liqueur bottle, and a brown glass Drambuie bottle. The collection also contains a miniature bottle in a red raffia wicker casing, a figural ceramic bottle shaped like a creature, possibly a badger, with a partially legible label, and several other small liqueur miniatures including a chocolate cream variety.
Liquid levels in the transparent glass bottles appear full and sealed, with the exception of the Pilavas Ouzo which is empty. The ceramic jugs are opaque, and fill levels remain unverified.
Overall width of collection: approximately 33 cm.
