Border Fine Arts The Chiltern Collection RW20 Dolphin and Baby Figurine
Description
A hand-painted figurine from the Chiltern Collection, titled Dolphin and Baby, part of the Endangered Species series produced by Border Fine Arts in association with the World Wide Fund for Nature. The piece depicts an adult dolphin and its calf swimming over a textured seabed base featuring rocks and coral. The sculpture is crafted from cold-cast resin and is mounted on a circular, polished wooden plinth. The underside of the figurine base bears an original white adhesive label which reads ENDANGERED SPECIES, RW20 DOLPHIN and BABY, The Chiltern Collection, BY BORDER FINE ARTS, Made in Britain, and includes the WWF panda logo with a 1986 copyright date. A small white inventory sticker with the handwritten number 9754 is present on the top of the wooden base.
