A Trio of Ceramic Storage Items Including Two Walt Disney Classics Special Edition Beauty and the Beast Canisters
Description
A collection of three ceramic items comprising two matching square storage canisters and a circular lidded box. The canisters, attributed to Clover based on market consensus, are finished in a pale cream glaze. Each features an inset lid with a relief-moulded handle in the form of a red rosebud with a trailing green stem and leaves. The front of each canister is decorated with a transfer-printed oval cartouche on a dark blue starry ground, inscribed Walt Disney CLASSICS, Beauty and the Beast, and SPECIAL EDITION, surrounded by a gold-toned border. The third item is a small circular ceramic box with a fitted lid, featuring a transfer-printed pastoral landscape scene on the lid and a repeat pattern of vertical motifs around the base. These pieces are constructed from glazed ceramic with transfer-printed decoration.
