Description
A rectangular sterling silver ingot pendant by B J K Ltd. The piece is of solid construction with an integral suspension loop at the top. The front of the pendant is struck with a full set of English hallmarks. These marks include the maker’s mark BJK for B J K Ltd, the Sheffield Assay Office town mark of a rose, the lion passant standard mark for .925 sterling silver, and the date letter e for 1979. Additionally, the pendant features a commemorative mark depicting the profile of Queen Elizabeth II, which was struck to celebrate the 1977 Silver Jubilee and continued to be used for a short period thereafter.
