A Beswick Gloss Glazed Large Ceramic Tiger Figurine
Description
A large ceramic figurine of a walking tiger, produced by the English pottery manufacturer Beswick. The piece is naturalistically modelled in a prowling stance and features a high-gloss glaze over an orange and white ground, finished with hand-painted black stripes. The underside bears the black circular printed factory backstamp reading Beswick England, alongside faint impressed numerals. Based on the form and dimensions, this corresponds to the Beswick Large Tiger, model number 2096.
