A Fairweather Collection Angler Figurine by D. Fairweather
Description
A decorative character figurine from The Fairweather Collection, designed by D. Fairweather and manufactured in Great Britain. The hand-painted figure depicts an angler in mid-action, dressed in a textured grey jacket with a red and white spotted pocket handkerchief, tan trousers, and a green hat. He holds a long, flexible fishing rod which is arched as though a fish is hooked. The figure is set upon a naturalistic base representing a grassy riverbank and swirling green water with a small leaping fish. The piece is mounted on a rectangular, polished mahogany-toned wooden plinth. The underside is finished with green felt and retains a gold-toned manufacturer’s label which reads: THE FAIRWEATHER COLLECTION, © D. FAIRWEATHER, ALL RIGHTS RESERVED, MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN.
