A Collection of Vintage and Antique Miniature Dolls and Repair Components
Description
An assortment of miniature dolls and doll repair components from various periods and origins. The collection includes traditional Japanese figures, notably a larger doll in a patterned orange kimono with gold-tone detailing and a smaller doll with a black wig and floral-patterned silk garment. European-style dolls include several all-bisque and jointed bisque miniatures, including an infant doll in a hand-knitted peach-coloured crochet dress and small Frozen Charlotte style figurines. Also included are character dolls in composition and celluloid, such as a figure in a red hooded cape and another in folk-style attire. The lot features dolls with both moulded and applied wigs, as well as painted and fixed eyes. A separate plastic container holds a variety of replacement glass and plastic doll eyes and other small repair parts.
