A Tele-Phone novelty British red telephone booth cabinet telephone
Description
A novelty reproduction telephone housed within a miniature wooden cabinet designed in the style of a classic British K6 red telephone kiosk. The cabinet is constructed from red painted wood and features a glazed front door with a brass-effect ring-pull latch. It is decorated with gold-tone script reading Telephone and a Tudor crown emblem. Internally, the unit contains a matching red plastic telephone with a black coiled handset cord. The dial is a push-button type arranged in a circular configuration to resemble a traditional rotary dial. An accompanying instruction leaflet identifies the model as a 1930 Phone Booth Design Wooden Cabinet Telephone and features a Tele-Phone logo with a crown. The item is fitted with a standard white telephone line cord.
