A collection of British cottage ware glazed earthenware tableware items, designed in the form of traditional thatched country cottages. This style of novelty ceramic was popularised by Staffordshire potteries during the mid-20th century, and this collection is highly characteristic of the Ye Olde Cottage range produced by Price Kensington. Each vessel features relief-moulded architectural details with hand-painted polychrome decoration in tones of brown, orange, green, and cream. The collection comprises a large biscuit barrel with a ceramic handle moulded to simulate woven wicker, multiple teapots with branch-form handles and spouts, and several lidded jars of varying proportions intended for use as tea caddies or preserve pots.
