An assortment of vintage ephemera and paper goods primarily relating to Northern England and maritime subjects. The lot includes a large colour print of a Victorian-era street scene featuring prominent signage for the Victory Hotel and Walker and Hall, Sheffield. Also present is a black and white photograph depicting a three-masted sailing ship at sea. A printed genealogical document titled The Ancient History of the Distinguished Surname is included, decorated with various heraldic shields and crests including a harp and the three lions of England. Further items include fragments of the Yorkshire Evening Post and an advertising flyer for Leeds-based businesses such as John Alexander and Autosheen, featuring a Leeds telephone number (423483). A portion of a spiral-bound notebook or calendar is also visible.
