Three Steiff Club Event Teddy Bears 2002-2004
Description
A trio of Steiff Club Event jointed teddy bears produced between 2002 and 2004. Each bear is crafted from mohair plush and features the signature Steiff button in the left ear with a white fabric tag and red script lettering.
The 2002 bear is made from off-white mohair with black eyes and a black hand-stitched nose and mouth. It wears a black sash with gold-tone lettering inscribed Club Event 2002 and Peter Jones China.
The 2003 bear is made from black mohair with dark eyes and a grey hand-stitched nose. It wears a white sash inscribed Steiff Club Event 2003 in black lettering. The sash includes a signature in black ink.
The 2004 bear is made from golden brown mohair with distinctive blue eyes and a black hand-stitched nose. It wears a blue sash inscribed 2004 in silver-tone lettering.
