A Collection of Royal Hampshire Art Foundry Cast Metal Military Figurines
Description
A collection of cast white metal military figurines produced by the Royal Hampshire Art Foundry. The assortment includes a variety of British Army subjects, featuring one large equestrian figure of a mounted officer and several groups of standing personnel. These groups depict infantry soldiers and specialist roles, including a machine gun or mortar team, in various historical and modern uniforms. The figures are mounted on integral rectangular bases, some of which feature small identifying nameplates, including one for The RA (Royal Artillery). The collection is accompanied by four original black presentation boxes, each printed with the maker’s crown logo and name in gold, and a Royal Hampshire Art Foundry certificate of authenticity. One box retains a handwritten paper label 9731 / p. The figurines exhibit a polished and burnished silver-toned finish.
