Three Merrythought Jointed Teddy Bears including ANA Special Edition
Description
A collection of three jointed teddy bears manufactured by Merrythought of Ironbridge, Shropshire, England. The first bear features emerald green plush fur with blue and green tartan fabric paw pads and a matching tartan necktie. A label is stitched to the right foot pad with a curved banner reading Merrythought, below which is Ironbridge Shropshire and above is Hand Made in England. The second bear is finished in honey-coloured plush with brown suedette-style paw pads. The left foot pad bears a blue rectangular label reading ANA by Merrythought and Made in England, indicating a special edition produced for All Nippon Airways. The third bear is constructed from black plush with cream-coloured fabric paw pads and wears a maroon silk-style ribbon bow decorated with a white geometric pattern. The left foot pad features a label with the curved Merrythought banner, Ironbridge Shropshire, and Made in England.
