A Trio of Mdina Glass Items by Michael Harris
Description
This lot comprises a trio of Mdina glass pieces, including a bulbous vase and two stylised fish figures, attributed to the designs of Michael Harris. The vase is crafted in a vibrant teal blue glass with a short neck and a wide, flared rim featuring a yellowish-green iridescent finish. The two hand-formed fish figures feature curved, translucent pale green bodies. One figure is mounted on a bulbous base with internal yellow and green striped decoration, while the second figure is mounted on a base with a dense internal pattern of yellow and green textured spots, creating a bullicante effect. A small metallic-finish label is present on the base of one figure, and a white rectangular adhesive label with the handwritten number 105 is attached to the body of the vase.
Vase: 13 cm in height and width.
Figures: 18 – 20 cm in length.
