Antique English Mahogany Drop-Leaf Side Table
Description
A nineteenth-century mahogany side table of English origin. The piece is constructed with a solid mahogany rectangular top featuring a single drop-leaf to one side. The deep frieze contains a single drawer fitted with a turned wooden knob handle. The table is supported by four square tapered legs, a design characteristic of late Georgian or early Victorian utility furniture. No maker’s marks or labels are present on the exterior surfaces.
