Dynasty Silver-Plated Marching Mellophone
Description
A silver-plated marching mellophone by Dynasty, likely model M540. The instrument is constructed from brass with a silver-plated finish and features three top-action piston valves with a large forward-facing bell. The bell is engraved with the Dynasty maker’s mark in a cursive script. A silver-toned mouthpiece is included and fitted to the leadpipe. The instrument is housed in a large olive-green or khaki-coloured hard-shell carrying case with a black plush-lined interior and protective foam inserts. The case features metal latches, a carry handle with a Dynasty brand tag, and the handwritten number 19 on the exterior. A white sticker marked 105 is present on the valve section.
