Large Italian Capodimonte Style Bisque Porcelain Figurine of a Woman with Dog
Description
A large hand-painted bisque porcelain figurine depicting a young woman in 18th-century attire accompanied by a small dog. The woman is dressed in a wide-brimmed floral hat, laced bodice, and flowing tiered skirt, finished in a soft polychrome palette of pale pink, blue, cream, and green. She stands upon an ornate naturalistic base decorated with moulded foliage and rockwork. A thin wire lead extends from the woman’s left hand to the dog at her feet. A small adhesive inventory label marked 501 is present on the lower skirt.
