A representational landscape painting by Leonard G. Kersley, executed in watercolour on textured paper. The composition depicts a rural scene in Thwaite, Swaledale, North Yorkshire, featuring traditional stone cottages and dry stone walls nestled among mature trees with undulating hills in the background. The work is signed and dated in the lower right corner L.G. Kersley ’81 and is further inscribed with the location Thwaite, Swaledale. The artwork is housed in a gilt and cream-painted wooden frame under a buff-coloured mount. Two auction lot labels are present on the right side of the mount. A yellow ruler is visible along the left edge for scale.
