A Collection of 20th-Century German and International Military and Political Awards and Badges replicas
Description
This collection comprises various military and political memorabilia, primarily from the German Third Reich period (1933-1945), along with World War I and international items. ALL REPLICAS The group includes an Iron Cross 2nd Class (1939). Also present is a British version of the WWI Inter-Allied Victory Medal with its characteristic rainbow ribbon, and an Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 (Hindenburg Cross) for non-combatants, suspended from a purple and white striped ribbon. The collection features a Middle Eastern military medal with Arabic script on a suspension bar. Political items include two circular enamel NSDAP membership pins with Nationalsozialistische – D.A.P. inscriptions, two SS-related pins comprising a circular black enamel pin with silver Sig runes and a diamond-shaped pin, and a group of Hitler Youth and Deutsches Jungvolk insignia. These include three diamond-shaped HJ pins in different colour variants and a circular DJ membership pin with a single rune. Further items include a Reichsluftschutzbund (RLB) membership badge with a starburst design and a Volksbund der Deutschen in Ungarn membership pin in green and white enamel. The lot also contains a small shield-shaped medal with a black, red, and gold ribbon and a small pin with a sunburst swastika motif. The items are constructed from stamped metals including zinc, tombac, and aluminium, with several pieces featuring enamel finishes
