A Collection of German Third Reich Military Awards, Insignia, and Uniform Components
Description
This lot comprises an extensive collection of German militaria from the 1933-1945 period, encompassing combat awards, commemorative badges, and uniform insignia. Notable awards include a pin-back Iron Cross 1st Class dated 1939, an Iron Cross 2nd Class with its original black, white, and red ribbon, and a War Merit Cross 1st Class with Swords. Specialized combat badges include an Anti-Partisan War Badge (Bandenkampfabzeichen) in a dark bronze-toned finish, a Luftwaffe Pilot Badge with a silver-washed wreath and gold-finished eagle, and a Luftwaffe Flak Badge featuring an 88mm gun. Infantry, Panzer, and General Assault badges are present in silver grades. The collection also includes Wound Badges in silver and black grades, a 1934 Tag der Arbeit commemorative tinnie, and a silvered belt buckle centre featuring the motto GOTT MIT UNS.
