A Set of Tradition of London British Napoleonic Infantry Toy Soldiers
Description
A set of hand-painted metal toy soldiers by Tradition of London. These figures depict British Line Infantry during the Napoleonic Wars, specifically identified as members of a Light Company by the green plumes on their shakos. The figures are dressed in traditional red tunics with white lace patterns on the breast and grey trousers. One figure is portrayed as a sergeant carrying a pike or espontoon, while the others are shown in the shoulder arms position carrying muskets with fixed bayonets. Each figure is fixed to a rectangular metal base painted green. A white adhesive label with the handwritten inventory number 9703 is present on the leading figure.
