A Collection of Vintage Airfix and Matchbox Military Figure Sets
Description
This collection consists of several vintage boxed military figure sets produced by Airfix and Matchbox. The majority of the sets are manufactured by Airfix in HO/OO scale and include titles such as W.W.II Luftwaffe Personnel, Australian Infantry, W.W.II British Infantry, W.W.II Gurkhas, W.W.II German Mountain Troops, W.W.II German Infantry, W.W.II German Paratroops, and W.W.II British Paratroops. A single Matchbox set is present, titled Afrika Korps in 1:76 scale. The sets are comprised of injection-moulded plastic figures contained within their original printed cardboard packaging featuring colour illustrations. Visible markings on the Airfix boxes include copyright dates of 1974 and 1975, with manufacturer details for Airfix Products Ltd, Haldane Place, London.
