A Collection of Assembled 1/35 Scale British Western Desert Campaign Military Models and Figures including LRDG Chevrolet and SAS Jeep Plastic
Description
An assortment of assembled and hand-painted plastic scale models and figures depicting British units from the North Africa and Western Desert campaigns of World War II. The collection includes notable vehicles likely based on kits by Tamiya, Revell, and Airfix, featuring a Long Range Desert Group Chevrolet 1533X2 30cwt truck and a Special Air Service modified Willy’s MB Jeep, both depicted with extensive external stowage, fuel cans, and weaponry. The group further comprises two Universal Carriers, two additional military transport trucks, and an armoured scout car. Artillery is represented by a 25-pounder field gun and its accompanying limber. Numerous miniature personnel figures in desert-issue uniforms, including khaki shorts and shirts, are positioned within and around the vehicles. The models have been finished with realistic weathering effects to simulate desert sand and dust. Visible markings include a red square with the number 54 on a Universal Carrier, the serial number 146957 on a truck tailboard, and a PASS inspection label.
