A Collection of British Lawn Bowling Club Badges, Stratton Cufflinks, and Personal Accessories
Description
This lot comprises an assortment of items, primarily focused on British lawn bowling club lapel badges and personal accessories. The collection includes numerous enamel pins from various regional clubs and associations, including Cockermouth Croft Bowling Club, Wigton Bowling Club, Dalston, Cumbria County Bowling Association, Grantham Bowling Club (marking the 1876-2001 Anniversary), Glenfield Bowling Club, Hot Shots Club, Stanwix, Dover Bowling Club, Appleby Bowling Club, and Havering L.B.C. One badge is inscribed with F.D.F. 89. Several bar-style name badges are included, engraved with the names Jean Key and Norman Key. The materials consist of gilt and silver-toned base metals with both hard and soft enamel detailing. Also included is a pair of Stratton gold-toned cufflinks with a bird motif, housed in an original black presentation box; one cufflink bears a label stating 22 carat gold layer.
