A Mid-20th Century Tudor Revival Stained Oak Two-Piece Welsh Dresser
Description
This two-piece Welsh dresser is constructed from stained oak with a visible grain throughout. The upper hutch section features a scalloped top frieze decorated with four turned drop finials. It contains a central double-door cupboard with leaded diamond-pane glazing, flanked on either side by two tiers of open shelving. The base section consists of three drawers over a three-door cupboard. Each cupboard door is decorated with carved arched panels in the Tudor Revival style. The piece is fitted with dark-finished cast metal drop handles and exposed H-style hinges. Small labels are present on the interior and exterior surfaces but are not clearly legible.
