Description

A trio of hand-blown Victorian cranberry glass items, attributed to the Stourbridge region of England, dating to the late 19th century. The collection comprises a footed bowl with a clear glass frilled rim and four applied clear glass shell-form feet; a footed cream jug featuring a clear glass handle, three applied clear glass shell-form feet, and hand-applied white glass threading to the neck; and a footed bowl with a plain rim and four applied clear glass shell-form feet. Each piece is manufactured using gold ruby glass techniques with applied clear glass rigaree. The construction is consistent with period hand-blown glass, typically featuring snapped or polished pontil marks to the base. No permanent maker marks or signatures are present; the jug bears a modern white adhesive inventory label with the handwritten number 9627.
