Lot 56:
A Trio of Mid-Century Modern Teak Nesting Tables Attributed to Kai Kristiansen
Description
A set of three nesting occasional tables, often referred to as cube tables, dating from the 1960s or 1970s. The tables are constructed from teak and teak veneer. The largest and middle tables feature rectangular tops with subtle, slightly raised gallery edges on the shorter sides. Each table is supported by square-section tapered legs. This design is widely attributed to the Danish designer Kai Kristiansen. A small, illegible white rectangular sticker is present on the front apron of the largest table.
