Description
A late 20th-century limited edition bronze sculpture titled Queen Guinevere, designed by Emily Kaufman for The Franklin Mint. The figure is depicted in flowing medieval-style robes, standing beside a flaming altar on a stone-effect tiered plinth. The sculpture is finished with a warm brown patina and features a red-pigmented flame element. It is mounted upon a circular base comprising a green marbled disc over a polished wood plinth. The underside of the base features a circular brass-tone plaque inscribed Queen Guinevere / Limited Edition Bronze / by with the facsimile signature of Emily Kaufman, further marked CRAFTED IN CHINA and © The Franklin Mint.
