Signed Theatre Poster for Queen by Kay Mellor at West Yorkshire Playhouse
Description
A framed promotional poster for the world premiere of the play Queen, written and performed by British dramatist and actress Kay Mellor. The production was staged at the West Yorkshire Playhouse, Leeds, with performance dates listed as 2 to 17 June. The graphic design features a central photographic portrait of Mellor holding a bouquet of yellow flowers, set against a background of large red roses. The item is signed in black ink by Kay Mellor to the left of the central portrait. Two additional illegible signatures or handwritten marks in black ink are present, one located below the Mellor signature and another to the upper right of the portrait. Printed production credits include director Jude Kelly, design and lighting by Peter Mumford, poster design by John Finlay, concept by Thompson Design, and photography by Richard Moran. A small white adhesive label with the handwritten reference 3676 D is present on the lower right of the glazing.
