A Set of Colclough Bone China Tea Wares in the Ivy Leaf Pattern
Description
A Colclough bone china tea service decorated in the Ivy Leaf pattern. The decoration consists of transfer-printed green ivy leaves with fine brown vine details on a white ground. The pieces feature hand-applied gilt rims and gilt accents on the handles, with scalloped edges to the plates and saucers. The set includes two circular cake or bread and butter plates, a group of tea cups, two stacks of matching saucers and side plates, and a cream jug. The base of the pieces bears a green printed backstamp with a crown above the name Colclough and the pattern name IVY LEAF printed in red.
