A Large Collection of Approximately 45-50 Pieces of Mixed Cut Glass and Crystal Stemware and Tableware
Description
A comprehensive mixed collection of clear glassware comprising approximately 45-50 pieces of various forms and styles. The lot primarily consists of stemware, including champagne coupes, wine glasses of various sizes, and small cordial or spirit glasses. Also included are several bowls, including a notable boat-shaped oval bowl with an etched and cut floral design and fan-cut edges, small tumblers, a perforated glass shaker, and a small cylindrical vessel with a silver-toned metal lid. The collection exhibits a wide range of decorative techniques, featuring deep geometric diamond-point and criss-cross cutting patterns, some of which are in the style of Waterford Lismore. Many of the stems feature starburst or radial cuts to the underside of the feet. A portion of the stemware, particularly the coupes, is plain-bodied, with some featuring simple etched bands or faceted stems. One glass bears a small, circular white adhesive sticker with the handwritten numerals 9630. The quality of the pieces varies from standard pressed glass to hand-cut lead crystal. No legible maker’s signatures, brand marks, or logos were observed during inspection.
