Framed Original MG Motor Car Advertisement from The Motor Magazine 1962
Description
A framed original full-page periodical advertisement for MG motor cars, extracted from the 17 October 1962 issue of the British magazine The Motor. The layout features profile illustrations of four contemporary models: the MG 1100, MGB, Midget, and Magnette. The design is headed by four prominent teal-coloured MG octagonal logos and the headline Three great New models— now it’s Safety Fast! motoring for EVERYONE!. The page includes the British Motor Corporation (BMC) rosette and descriptive captions for each vehicle. Printed text at the top left corner identifies the source as THE MOTOR October 17 1962 and Colour 17. The lower right corner contains corporate information for The M.G. Car Co. Ltd. Sales Division in Cowley, Oxford, and showrooms at Stratton House, Piccadilly. The item is presented in a modern silver-toned wood-effect frame with a dark blue mount and glass.
