Description
A collection of scientific instruments and collectibles. The lot features a Fowler’s circular calculator with a nickel-plated case and a dial displaying multiple concentric scales, including logarithmic notations, marked FOWLER’S and MANCHESTER. The instrument is accompanied by its original square, black, textured protective case. Also present is an open-face pocket watch by Limit, featuring a gold-tone metal case, a white dial with black Arabic numerals, and a subsidiary seconds dial at the 6 o’clock position. The collection includes a flat brass military button cleaning stick with a central slot and various apertures, bearing faint incised marks near one edge and a white adhesive label with the notation 9628 D. Additionally, there are three pieces of pewter hollowware comprising a pair of baluster-form pepper shakers with perforated tops and a small companion cup or egg cup. The lot is completed by a novelty desk accessory with a painted spherical top featuring a red heart motif, mounted on a circular brass base.
