An Elizabeth II Sterling Silver Rose Bowl, E.H. Parkin & Co Ltd, Sheffield, 1968
Description
A sterling silver rose bowl of pedestal form by the silversmith E.H. Parkin & Co Ltd. The piece features a polished circular bowl with a simple rim, mounted upon a stepped, spreading pedestal foot. It is complete with a removable silver-toned wire mesh flower frog. The exterior of the bowl is struck with a full set of British hallmarks: the maker mark E H P over CO LTD within a shaped shield, the rose mark for the Sheffield Assay Office, the lion passant for sterling silver, and the date letter A for 1968.
