A Collection of Approximately 30 Wedgwood Calendar and Decorative Plates
Description
A collection of approximately 30 Wedgwood fine bone china decorative plates, primarily from the Cottage Garden annual calendar series. The 1994 plate features a central calendar for the year encircled by twelve botanical vignettes depicting various garden flowers, finished with a green foliate border at the rim. The decoration is applied using a multi-colour transfer-printing technique. The lot also includes a plate with a brown and white transfer-printed landscape scene. Many of the plates are contained within their original light blue Wedgwood manufacturer boxes.
