Description

This collection comprises an assortment of fraternal regalia and accessories belonging to the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (RAOB), dating from the mid-20th century to the early 21st century. The items are primarily associated with the West Yorkshire region, specifically the Wakefield and Dewsbury Province. The regalia is constructed from silk and synthetic ribbons with gold-tone bullion wire fringe and multi-coloured embroidery.

The collection includes:
A maroon sash embroidered with Wakefield & Dewsbury Prov. and P.G.P. 2001 (Provincial Grand Primo).
A purple commemorative sash for Prince Lodge No. 4281, dated 1922-1982, named to Bro. H. Lay…
Multiple light blue sashes for Honesty Lodge, including one featuring the Roll of Honour (ROH) degree emblem.
A white sash featuring a gold-embroidered buffalo and a double-headed eagle emblem.
A red sash featuring embroidered crossed-key symbols and the letters G.L.E. (Grand Lodge of England).
The sashes feature the RAOB crest, which includes a crown, a buffalo head, and a garter bearing the motto Nemo Mortalium Omnibus Horis Sapit. The lot is accompanied by several black leatherette snap-closure pouches designed for the storage and transport of the regalia.
