Description
This extensive 104-piece dinner and tea service is crafted from glazed earthenware, featuring a design characteristic of mid-20th-century British pottery. The decoration consists of a transfer-printed stylized floral pattern with blossoms in muted shades of brown, blue, and green set against a cream-coloured ground. Several components, including the lids, bowl exteriors, and saucers, are finished in a contrasting solid chocolate-brown glaze. The collection comprises a large rectangular lidded tureen, a circular lidded tureen, two jugs (one with a lid), teacups, stacks of dinner plates, side plates, and saucers, various soup and dessert bowls, egg cups, and a sauce boat.
