Description

An assortment of cut lead crystal and glassware, predominantly of 20th-century British origin. The collection includes three spirit decanters with multifaceted stoppers, featuring deep-cut diamond and cross-hatch geometric patterns. One decanter is accompanied by a shield-shaped silver-coloured metal label inscribed GIN. The lot further comprises various suites of drinking vessels, including wine glasses, tumblers, and highball glasses, decorated with fan motifs and vertical fluting. One glass bears a small white adhesive label with the handwritten number 9384. A notable inclusion is a circular etched glass plate commemorating the 1937 coronation of King George VI, featuring a central portrait and the inscription CORONATION KING GEORGE VI 1937. Also present is a small amber glass jug. While the style is consistent with makers such as Webb Corbett, Stuart Crystal, and Tudor Crystal, no acid-etched manufacturer marks are discernible.
Dimensions variable.
