A Collection of Modern and Vintage Binoculars and Field Glasses
Description
This collection comprises various optical instruments including modern prism binoculars, compact binoculars, and vintage field glasses. One pair of compact binoculars is marked COBRA on the central hinge cap and features a black finish with a cord neck strap. A pair of modern prism binoculars features a black textured body, centre-focus adjustment, and is accompanied by a black padded soft case. The vintage items include a pair of small field glasses with nickel-plated barrels, housed in a black leather pouch gold-stamped with a crest depicting a crown above a circular motif. Also included is a pair of large-aperture field glasses with nickel-plated rims and a black-coated body, stored in a repurposed cylindrical leather industrial case. This case is printed with the text BUSHES and WASHERS, MACHINED BRONZE, and J. ROBERT, and includes a handwritten label numbered 9628.
