Description
A Danbury Mint The Trafalgar side table, designed in a reproduction Regency style with a mahogany-finished frame. The circular top contains an inset glass panel over a printed commemorative scene depicting Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson and the Battle of Trafalgar. The perimeter of the print is decorated with maritime signal flags and the inscription England Expects That Every Man Will Do His Duty. The structure is supported by three reeded legs joined by a circular undertier. The undertier features a gilt-effect transfer of Lord Nelson’s coat of arms, including the mottoes Palmam qui meruit ferat and Tria Juncta In Uno.
