Description
A two-piece kitchen dresser constructed from knotty pine with a clear light-toned varnish finish. The upper section comprises an open plate rack with three wide shelves, each featuring a groove for plate display. This section includes a central vertical support and is framed by decorative scalloped side friezes, with a tongue-and-groove boarded back. The base sideboard is configured with six drawers arranged in two vertical columns of three. The left-hand column features drawers with flat fronts, while the right-hand column features drawers with recessed rectangular panelled fronts. All drawers are fitted with simple turned pine pull knobs. The unit is of two-piece construction for ease of transport, with the upper rack designed to sit upon the base unit. No maker marks or labels are visible.
