A Mid-Century Modern Teak Veneered Low Bookcase and Drawer Unit
Description
A mid-century modern teak-veneered low storage unit or bookcase, designed in the Danish style. The rectangular carcass is divided into four open compartments of varying widths by fixed vertical partitions. To one end is a bank of three drawers, each fitted with curved wooden pull handles. The piece features a prominent wood grain throughout and clean, minimalist lines. There are no visible maker’s marks or labels on the exterior or within the visible shelving. The shelves are fixed in position. The unit is presented in a horizontal orientation and lacks a base or legs, suggesting it may have originally been part of a modular wall system.
Dimensions: Low, elongated proportions suitable for use as a sideboard-height bookcase or part of a modular wall system.
