Description
A mid-20th century English bone china tea service manufactured by Spencer Stevenson and Co. Ltd under the Royal Stuart trade name. The collection features a classic floral aesthetic, decorated with transfer-printed large pink roses and green foliage set against a white ground. Each piece is designed with a scalloped rim and finished with hand-applied gilt highlights. The service comprises a double-handled rectangular serving tray, a cream jug, a sugar bowl, four teacups, six saucers, and six tea plates. The underside of the vessels bears the printed maker’s mark: Royal Stuart Bone China, Spencer Stevenson, England, featuring a crown insignia. Serving tray measures approximately 34 cm in length.
